Matthew 19:16-26 (AeP Tyndale21 Version)

"And someone came and said to him, Good Master, what good thing should I do, so I might have eternal life? And he said to him, Why do you call me good? There is no one good but God. But if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments. He said to him, Which? Jesus said, do not commit adultery, do not kill, do not steal, do not bear false witness; Honor your father and mother: and, love your neighbor as yourself. The young man said to him, I have observed all these things since my youth, what do I still lack? Jesus said to him, If you wish to be perfect, go and sell all things that you have, and give it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had many possessions. Then said Jesus to his disciples, Truly I say to you, it is hard for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. When his disciples heard it, they were amazed, saying, Who then can be saved? But Jesus saw them, and said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible."
