Matthew 6:5-8 in the Abbott ePublishing Tyndale21 Version of the Gospels

“And when you pray, you should not be like the hypocrites are, because they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners, because they wish to be seen by others. Truly I say to you, They have their reward. But when you pray, enter into your closet, shut the door, and pray to your Father, who is in secret, and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you openly. And when you pray, do not babble on and on like the pagan nations do, because they think that they will be heard because of their many words. Therefore, do not be like them, because your Father knows the things you need before you ask him.”
- Matt. 6:5-8 in the Abbott ePublishing Tyndale21 Version of the Gospels.
