Matt. 6:26-33 (AeP Tyndale21 Version)
See the birds of the air. They do not plant, nor do they harvest, nor do they gather food into barns; but your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not more valuable than they are? Which of you, just by thinking about it, can add one foot to his stature? And why worry about clothes? Consider the lilies of the field, and how they grow. They do not work, neither do they spin. And still, even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these. Why, if God clothes the grass of the field like this, which today exists, and is tomorrow thrown into the oven, will he not clothe you much better? Oh, you of little faith? So, do not worry, saying, What will we eat? or, What will we drink? or, With what will we be clothed? (For these things the Gentiles seek after) Your heavenly Father knows you need all these things. But rather, first seek the kingdom of Heaven, and the righteousness of it, and all these things will be given to you.
